I am really into wearing bandana as a scarf this summer for a casual, funky touch, tied around my hair as a headband or even on a handbag strap. It can both add a pop of color or serve its purpose as an actual piece of clothing.
As an example, I love the off the shoulder trend that is currently being embraced by a lot of designers and shoppers. It works perfectly in hot summer temperatures, but not everybody is comfortable with a “not enough left to the imagination look”, so adding a scarf or bandana to your neck can balance an open shoulder if desired.
As usual Reformation is my favorite retail destination for summer dresses. They always stock a great variety of styles in many prints and fabrics. The only comment I have is that if you like a certain print and style a lot then I would advise you not to think about it too long – it will probably be gone pretty soon or you will be added to a forever-long waiting list. So don’t think twice- if you love it get it and enjoy this hot summer wherever you are!
