When I hear fringe and kimono style blouses or jackets I always think bohemian and beach – and they work perfectly in Southern California, especially with the Coachella Music Festival around the corner.

However, I wanted to break the common trend and style this beautiful piece by Single Dress for a nice polished, going-out look.  Pairing it with classic black pumps and a bag along with a neutral, mid-length dress allows this fringed kimono jacket to be a statement on its own.

So, if you do head to Coachella or any other upcoming spring or summer music festivals I would look into investing in a clothing piece like this since it goes well as cover up with a swimsuit by the pool, as a shawl with a pair of denim shorts or as a nice statement piece for a night out.
