Back to Paris we go today with another story shot at the Petit Palais with Hana during my last visit.
Gucci has a long standing history of reinventing flora and fauna motives in the house’s prints and designs. That’s why there is no surprise that Alessandro Michele is exploring the history, but of course through his own eyes. His vision is quite eclectic, filled with rich colors and creatures sending curious and liberating messages.
Something about the contrast of a snake and butterfly against the pungent, rich green hue of the wool fascinated and put me in awe of the design as something that I hadn’t seen before.
And that’s the emotion I keep getting from everything this current mastermind creates. His artwork has a story and it grabs your attention right away, making you want to be a part of it, helping to shape it with your own input and creativity.
