Today I am taking you with me through the latest BCBG FW18 show under new creative director Bernd Kroeber. The name of the show “Rough Glamour” perfectly covered the mood of the collection: romantic roots of the brand roughned by a new modern vision.

Metallic finishes, grungy leather and oversized cuts, beautifully worked with light ruffles, lace, intricate beading, bohemian notes and statement pieces.
The presentation also had fantastic conversation pieces: commissioned illustrations covering the space made by prominent female artists, including Langley Fox.
All in all the collection was beautiful and I hope this new chapter for BCBG will bring a needed breath of fresh ideas and reformation.
As for my look for the show, I went with a lot of layers and a fun sparkly turban piece that worked its purpose: keeping me warm and helping me look dressy on a windy, moody winter day in NYC.
What are your thoughts on the new BCBG direction?
