Two understated features were the key for make-up and hair at Cushnie’s FW19 show.
Maybelline make up artist Grace Lee created this monochromatic terracotta look to underplay the rich red, berry, purple and electric blue tones that dominated the FW19 collection.
Keeping complexion simple but radiant, the focus went onto lips, lids and cheeks where a mix of lipsticks was applied to achieve a custom terracotta shade.
Wing shaped eyeliner was balanced with a “boyish-but-groomed” brow.

The hair was aligned with the makeup – elegant and sleek yet very subdued – to which Tresemme global stylist Justine Marjan advised using a toothbrush to brush down in order to eliminate any flyaways.
Carly Cushnie presented a beautiful collection for FW19, keeping the aesthetic feminine yet clean and polished with lush evening looks in rich tones and scrumptious finishes. As always, my wishlist never ends, and at least a couple of pieces were immediately added to it straight from the runway.
