These past few years one of the collections I am always eager to see is Delpozo by the uber talented Josep Font. His background in architecture impeccably intertwines the classic heritage of Delpozo’s house with the modern Font take. Clean lines and futuristic shapes are structured yet airy and adorned with magical details of craftsmanship stepping right out of a dreamy fairyland.
Each and every single item from the collection is unlike anything you have owned or worn before yet somehow is very familiar. The structured skirt featured on the blog today is made of linen, not the fabric you would expect right away for this type of garment or the couture house, as an example. Art is the first thing that comes to my mind – wearable art where anything and everything is possible and doesn’t need to have a reasoning behind it, letting the creativity and originality freely roam and break the canons.
For now I am like you just counting the minutes till the show on September 14th to see what the mastermind behind the brand has in store for us for the upcoming SS’17.
