Elie Tahari’s FW19 show paid a beautiful tribute to the 70s. Amongst the classics spotted from that era were trench coats, ponchos, turtlenecks and tailored leather jackets. Flamboyant, textured ensembles and prints added their playful touch, along with some timeless lace and velvet pieces.
Another reference to the 70s was a cameo of timeless bombshell Christie Brinkley, who took a turn on the runway after the appearance of her almost identical-looking daughter Sailor, which perfectly represented the versatility of the brand being a go-to for every generation.
