It might be back to school time but no one canceled the festivities the autumnal season might bring, be it a wedding, work gathering, birthday or simply a fall soiree. In any case you have to be prepared and have a fashion plan.

I like to start my color transition once the season changes but then you can still get away with bolder hues since the temperatures are still quite nice in most places.
As for the fall transition and how I would translate it into a going out palette, I think you can truly embrace warmer richer tones like reds, terracotta, orange, burgundy, caramel or chocolate if you wish. I personally love deeper green, grey and purple as well. Good ol’ neutrals will absolutely do the trick as always.
So my take on the featured look was inspired by the contrast of bright and bold orange and statement gold, but then again, I paired it with a rustic no fuss bucket bag to keep the look from getting too stuffy and red carpet like. The best thing about this dress is that it can be also adjusted for that waterfront vacation when paired with a hat or sandals. The flowy cut and cold shoulder detail make this piece truly versatile.
Any major plans for a big fall soiree coming up?
