It’s been a month since NYFW’18 and I am finally ready to share with you most of my looks worn to the shows and events along with some of my favorite trends and style forecasts from the shows themselves.
Coat: Prada similar 1 | 2 | 3 | 4
Belt: Prada similar 1 | 2
Boots: Alexander McQueen current season version 1 | 2
Bag: Hermes
Dress: H&M similar 1 | 2
Hat: Maison Michel 1 | 2 | 3
Earrings: H&M
Lips: MAC and Buxom in Bellini
This polished yet wearable look was put together for the Pamella Roland show on my first day of NYFW FW18.
The weather was cold and windy, which is quite typical given it was mid-February in NYC, with a possibility of rain, so having a hat or something other than a boring umbrella to cover your head was a must. And nothing like a Maison Michel hat to accomplish the task while putting a final touch to the look – the Henrietta style is my go to which fits best and works with my face shape.
And again when taking off your coat or outerwear layer isn’t really an option but an impression has to be made, I opt for some dressy accessories – in this case it was this jeweled Prada buckle belt to dress up an otherwise classic grey wool coat.
How do you manage to keep it interesting when dressing up your warm top layers that have been in heavy rotation these past few months while we all wait for spring weather to arrive?
