I hope everybody had a relaxing holiday with the family. I sure did – with a bit overindulging on some pastries and gelato along with some online shopping sessions. I am a pescetarian of 10+ years so no turkeys were harmed here, but some coffee cakes and pies might have been 🙂
Getting back to reality and into swing of things, I put together this transitional rustic-looking outfit inspired by autumnal colors and the remnants of what is left of the this fall as we officially step into winter.
Oversized, long, chunky – however you want to describe them – cardigans are all over the place this season, being paired with whatever you can think of starting from mini to maxi dresses, shorts, jeans and skirts – anything really to give this cozy and casual touch to up-dressed outfits or with an added belt or brooch (which are very “In” this season!) to create a dressy outwear option. So if you are on the look out for some cold weather appropriate, versatile clothing pieces I definitely recommend exploring knits and cardigans for some fun layering. As for tips on the material, stick with more natural blends to avoid an itchy and static-y nightmare.
