Tropical prints are usually associated with vacation due to their loud colors and patterns, but that doesn’t always have to be the case. If there is a certain piece in tropical print that you have to absolutely have in your current city wardrobe, there are ways to make it work with some styling tweaks.

I live in LA where the relaxed style and ocean proximity allows for a little bit more festivity and color than most other places. For that reason I wanted to keep the tropical theme going and added my summer staples by Rebecca de Ravenel along with colorful pumps.
As for the rest of you who are not able to embrace the vacation theme as freely in your everyday life, I recommend pairing your favorite tropical inspired top with jeans, single color pants or skirt, or the other way around if we are talking about bottoms being the feature point.
What are your thoughts on tropical themed fashion and is there a place in your wardrobe for leafy colorful pieces?
